Adam M. Davis

Adam M. Davis is pledged in service to the people of the land. He teaches about the Earth as a system of connected energy movements in classrooms and in the field, and he leads spiritually oriented “Connecting with the Land” workshops at healthy living fairs, community events, and various other types of gatherings. He enjoys combining multiple perspectives and techniques to explore integrated, holistic ways of working with nature.
Adam enjoys teaching diverse groups of people about the Earth and helping them connect with its energies. He draws upon 15 years of experience teaching Earth and environmental science at the college level as well as over 20 years of experience leading spiritually oriented nature awareness exercises during his efforts to provide the best possible experiences for his students.
The “Connecting with the Land” workshops that Adam facilitates create an intellectual and energetic environment that allows participants to enhance their awareness of the sacred aspects of place and develop nature connections.

Many nature connection efforts involve, or can benefit from, a shamanic state of consciousness. Communications and relationships with nature entities and energies can be expanded and enhanced through the use of various shamanic methods including shamanic journey, shamanic walking, multiple journeying, communications with the spirits, and more. An article that focuses on the use of shamanic techniques and practices for developing relationships with nature is available at:

Workshops:
Relating with Nature in Ways that Honor the Ancestors and Support Future Generations
You are invited to join us in exploring our actions in light of whether they respect the ancestors and future generations. The workshop will include some discussion and a three-part ceremony. During the ceremony, we will look at human activities that are destructive to the environment and future generations, we will invoke guidance from the nature spirits and ancestors, and then we will journey to look at ways we can be of better service to current and future generations.
Ancestors and Stewards of Sacred Landscapes
Ancestors of blood and ancestors of place have cared for and continue to care about Earth’s sacred landscapes. They have valuable wisdom that can help us in our efforts to live with respect and reverence for ecosystems and nature spirits. In this workshop, we will work with spirits of land stewards and Earth keepers to explore important causal factors that influence environmental issues and to develop healthy strategies for environmental service.
